IMVU is basically an Instant Messenger program developed by Will Harvey and IMVU, Inc. and it includes a unique way to meet other people and interact with them. Each member can design a 3D Avatar with which to use to talk to other people in a variety of environments. Currently IMVU is in Beta, but has several million users. The environments you can have are limited only by your imagination since players have the ability to create scenes themselves and sell them to others. Each user is given a webpage similar to what you get on Myspace. In addition, IMVU gives IMVU players the ability to create customized rooms or scenes that can be made and furnished how you want.
